About the tender

ActionAid International Somalia is seeking a supplier to provide dignity kits containing essential hygiene and personal care items to vulnerable women and girls in four IDP camps in Beledweyne, in the Hiiraan region of Somalia. The activity is intended to respond to the limited access these groups have to basic hygiene and personal care materials while displaced. The kits are meant to complement existing protection, GBV prevention, awareness raising and community engagement work, and the distribution is to be run in a safe, inclusive, accountable and protection sensitive way.

What the work covers

  • Supply of dignity kits made up of essential hygiene and personal care items.
  • The kits are distributed to vulnerable women and adolescent girls living in four IDP camps in Beledweyne.
  • The distribution is accompanied by awareness raising on personal hygiene, sanitation, GBV prevention, women's and children's protection, and available support and referral services.
  • Linkages are strengthened between the women and girls reached and existing protection, GBV, psychosocial, health and other referral services where required.

How to bid

Interested suppliers should send their quotations by 5 November 2026, quoting the subject line on dignity kits and hygiene items. Only suppliers that are shortlisted will be contacted.

If something here is wrong

The notice governs, not this page. Where the two disagree, the notice is right, and the desk wants to know: tell the desk and the entry is corrected or taken down the same day. An entry is also taken down at the request of the body that issued it.
